Group Meeting

We have decided exactly whihc version of 'Gold' we're going to use and have all confirmed our four locations in enfield town. Also, we are awaiting the go-ahead to purchase items for our shoot.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

on friday we're going to go to central london and check out a number of locations e.g. trafalgar square, leicter square, natuaral history mueseum, southbank and we need some stairs....enfield town can still be used as another location or as a back up.
We've decided we're going to use some graphic matches in our footage...good visual hooks etc etc
We're still going to keep a loose storyline so that the audience but make everything abstract (use editing to mkae the audience create their own more detailed storyline)
I really feel we've moved forward today and everything seems to be coming together =]

Shoes for Detective (James B)

Should they just be shiny, leather man shoes?

What shoes size is James B?

Where can we get them from?

Detective Costume

Hi this is just copied and pasted from my blog because I thought it's probably relevant =)

On the detective character:

He will need to be a hardcore, conventional, cliche, iconic detective man to make his identity/character type and hence the genre of the 'film' and what is going on in the narrative clear. Hence his costume will clearly be VERY important.

Images of Film Noir era detectives:
coming soon...

Detective Hat
We must have a good hat. Quick google search of 'film noir' presented me with the following images (these all taken from first two pages I believe):
........hat hat hat hat. We must have a hat like this!

Beige/Camel trenchcoat/raincoat
I think veeeery important. Second only to hat. See above 'detective hat' pictures, and most feature such a coat.

(eBay items).
